Ian Meldrum started his insurance career with Mutual & Federal and after about 10 years joined the brokering market where he has been for the past 23 years. Ian offers all forms of short-term insurance services with respect to
personal / commercial / property / engineering / marine / liability insurance-related products.
Chandre’s commitment to professional development is evident from the various qualifications she has obtained over the years, including a Bachelor of Commerce in Short Term Insurance from Milpark Business School. She is also actively involved in the Insurance Institute of Western Cape, where she has served as the Head of U35’s and is currently the Deputy President.
Chandre’s dedication to mentoring and developing young professionals in the industry is admirable, and her involvement in the IIWC Rise program is a testament to her commitment to giving back. Overall, Chandre Stemmer’s passion for the insurance industry, dedication to professional development, and commitment to giving back make her an asset to her clients, colleagues, and community.
Andrew has been a director at STP since 1999. He uses the knowledge he has gained over the years to give his clients the peace of mind that they are in the right hands. Honesty and Integrity are his core values, and he works hard to ensure that clients receive the best possible advice. His motivation for young people in the industry is to stay focused, be patient and learn from those who have ample years of experience in the industry.
Leon uses his many years of experience as a director to provide excellent service to his clients. Honesty and fairness are the values he lives strictly by, assuring clients that they are getting what they need, not what they think they need. He aims to protect his clients from today’s myriad risks facing them by using his knowledge and expertise to craft the best insurance package for them.
As the newest addition to STP’s team of Portfolio Managers, he is ready to demonstrate his adept skills and abilities by being on the frontline of the business and upholding the company image by delivering proficient service to prospective clients. His goal as an insurance broker is to provide accurate, reliable information, prompt responses and helpful advice.
Jacques Badenhorst began his career with Auto & General in 1999.
He later fulfilled various team sales manager roles within the Telesure Investment Holdings Organization which included managing the Commercial, eCommerce and Hippo Sales Teams.
In 2013, Jacques entered the broking industry with the intent to provide service of an exceptional standard with the main focus on business continuity for his clients.
Jacques boasts extensive knowledge and experience on a wide array of specialist insurance products, including but not limited to, professional liability for medical professionals, trucking, agriculture assets & crop insurance, construction risks etc.
Jacques is currently in the process of completing his 3rd year for his Bcom in Insurance at Milpark.
